1.11 "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues" - ABC.com - Official LOST wikiSynopsis: Back in the caves, the survivors realize that Charlie and Claire are missing. As they begin a search, they discover clues that indicate they have been kidnapped and separated. One group searches for Claire, and another for Charlie. When Jack finds Ethan with Claire, Ethan overpowers Jack and warns him to stop following them. The other search party finds Charlie left for dead, but Jack manages to save Charlie's life.

Flashback: In a flashback, Jack tries to be the best doctor he can, but it proves difficult when his own father is a respected surgeon and his boss. His father is also an alcoholic who operates under the influence, a fact Jack shares with the hospital board that promptly ends his father's career.

OMG Moment: While searching for Charlie and Claire, Boone and Locke discover a locked metal hatch in the ground.
